The Temple of Artemis: Ephesus honors his goddess

The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus was used both as a market place and place of worship of the goddess.

This temple is located in Turkey, within the ancient city of Ephesus Selcuk renamed. It was built between the eighth and the third century BC-C and destroyed eight times in ten centuries. Contract and place of worship, it is also regarded as the first bank in the world.
