A Microsoft patch fixes a flaw in Power Point

United States - Microsoft has released in its security bulletin for the month of May an update to correct a flaw called "critical" by the publisher.

The patch fix fills a lot of vulnerabilities that can be exploited by hackers. The latter, by a Trojan horse, can take control of a remote computer.

"The introduction of vulnerabilities in Office suites is one of the most prized by the pirates, especially when it comes to conduct attacks to steal furtive data of high value," says David Marcus, a researcher and director of communication for the research laboratory McAfee Avert Labs.

Versions are Office 2000, Office 2003, Office XP, Office 2007 and Office for Mac OS X.
