Liquid water on Mars

Photos taken by the U.S. Phoenix probe suggest the presence of water on the red planet.

Indeed, water droplets were found at the foot of Phoenix. This discovery was made at the polar cap of Mars, where temperatures did not exceed -25 ° C during six months of the probe. Question: how, at such a temperature, the water she could remain liquid? To some experts, the answer lies in the presence of salts, which could lower the freezing point of several tens of degrees.
