Global warming: irreversible?

According to a team of American researchers, global warming would be irreversible.

Indeed, they argue that efforts at this time by the whole world to fight against this phenomenon will not be effective until the year 3000. However, scientists believe that we must continue our efforts in order not to deteriorate the situation further. In their report, it is specified that the increase of temperature implies an expansion of the oceans. These climate changes are a consequence of gas injected by man into the atmosphere, which trap solar heat, thus helping to increase the temperature.
